Employers today are increasingly looking to hire college students and recent graduates who can effectively
leverage their talents, strengths, and interests in the workplace. At FIU, these students are recognized as
Career Ready. But what does it take to become Career Ready at FIU?
One of the essential steps is engaging with the Panther Career Readiness Module. This module is designed to
equip students with the necessary skills and competencies that employers value and help them learn about
resources to support their chosen career paths.
Additionally, FIU offers Micro-Credentials that allow students to earn digital badges in specific areas of
expertise. Completing these Micro-Credentials not only enhances a student’s resume but also demonstrates
their commitment to continuous learning and professional development. These credentials provide tangible proof
of a student's skills, making them more competitive in the job market.
